Fascinated by the incredible intelligence and adaptability of the human body—subtly orchestrated by the nervous system—Julie Bournisien is a certified reflexologist with the Fédération Française de Réflexologie (FFR) and the Reflexology Association of Canada (RAC), as well as a sound therapist.
Julie’s journey into complementary and alternative healing therapies began when she sought relief from stress and anxiety while pursuing a career as an international tax lawyer in Paris.
Initially focused on foot reflexology, she discovered auricular reflexology in 2014 and was deeply impressed by its benefits for chronic conditions, neurological disorders, and addiction support. In 2021, while working as a Tax Director for a publicly traded international company, Julie made the life-changing decision to place human well-being and the mind-body connection at the heart of her work, leaving the corporate world behind.
Today, she is certified in combined reflexology (foot, hand, facial, and auricular), as well as in specialized reflex techniques for back, crania-facial, hand, and foot relaxation. She is also a sound therapist, integrating vibrational healing into her practice.
Her expertise encompasses treating individuals across all age groups, including infants, children, adults, and the elderly.
Before moving to Canada in August 2024, Julie practiced in her own clinic in Paris and Baie de Somme, while also working in three major medical and paramedical institutions: Maison des Parents Ferdinand Foch (Suresnes) Neurology Department – Nervous System Diseases Unit, Hôpital de la Pitié-Salpêtrière (APHP), Paris Oncology Department, Institut Mutualiste Montsouris, in partnership with La Ligue contre le Cancer
A lifelong learner, Julie continues to deepen her knowledge and refine her skills to provide exceptional healing experiences for her clients.
